This Is A Specially Created, Limited-Edition Cel Set-Up Depicting Walt Disney’S Classic Animated Characters Mickey And Minnie Mouse. In This Sericel Edition, “Mickey And Minnie At Destination Disney,” Mickey And Minnie Consult A World Map Of Disney Destinations A Map Complete With Their Friends Goofy, Daisy, Pluto And Donald All Enjoying Their Journeys Toward Those Important World Landmarks Like Disneyland Park In Anaheim, California, Walt Disney World Resort In Florida, Disneyland Paris, In France, And Tokyo Disneyland In Japan.

The Walt Disney Studios Has Created The Mickey And Minnie Mouse Character Images Using The Fine Art Screen-Printing Process Of Color Reproduction Known As Serigraphy. Disney Artists Specially Created A Hand-Inked, Hand-Painted Animation Cel Master Which Was Used By American Atelier Of Carson, California In The Production Of These Sericels. A Total Of 17 Colors Were Used To Recreate The Color Image, Each Of Which Has Been Exactingly Screen-Printed, One Color At A Time, Onto The Acetate Cel. The Background Scene Accompanying This Cel Has Been Created By Disney Artists. The Background Artwork Has Been Lithographically Printed On Premium-Quality, Acid-Free Paper By Anderson Printing Of Los Angeles, California. These Two Elements Together Create The Cel Set-Up.

This Limited Edition Cel Set-Up Was Produced In 1998 And Made Available First Through The Disney Store, Disney Theme Parks, And Disney Catalog. It Is Comprised Of A General Edition Of No More Than 7,500 Cel Set-Ups. The Cel In This Set-Up Is Also Used In Other Sericel Editions In This Collection Spotlighting Cities Throughout The World, Including Los Angeles, Honolulu, San Francisco, Tokyo And New York City, With More To Follow. Those Editions Also Consist Of No More Than 7,500 Sericel Set-Ups, Except For The Tokyo Edition.

Walt Disney Art Classics Approves The Techniques Used In The Production Of This Edition And The Proofs Thereof. Conforming To The Practice Of Fine Art Printing, The Screens Used To Create The Edition Are Destroyed When The Edition Is Closed.

The Original Character Drawings, The Original Background Painting, And The Hand-Inked, Hand-Painted Cel Are Archived With The Publisher. There Are No Signed Or Numbered Impressions In This Edition.
